DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis has announced three changes to its men's water polo schedule regarding upcoming games. The UC Davis versus Air Force, scheduled for this Saturday in Berkeley, has been canceled. The Aggies' game against Santa Clara on Oct. 18 at Hickey Pool has been moved to noon from its original 1 p.m. start. The Oct. 19 game against Stanford, originally scheduled to be played in Davis, has been moved to Stanford and will be played at noon.

The Aggies are currently ranked tied for 12th in the nation in this week's Collegiate Water Polo Association Coaches Poll. The ranking is the highest for UC Davis since finishing the 1997 season at No.12.

"The ranking is a good reflection of what people think of our program," said third-year head coach Steve Doten. "We are certainly improving with each week and last week's win over (then No.12) Navy was key in our moving up the rankings. Now the onus is on our guys to live up to the ranking and play the way we have been without the added pressure of being No.12. It will be interesting to see how we handle it."

UC Davis enters this weekend with a 9-6 record. It faces UC Berkeley, the nation's No.1 team, in Berkeley Saturday morning then will meet No.12 (tie) Princeton and No.16 Pacific Sunday in Stockton.
